Peel and chop the garlic. Mix with the rum, the cola and the oil to a marinade, season with salt and pepper. Knock the schnitzel flat, cut in half and place in the marinade for about 30 minutes.
In the meantime, wash and core the tomatoes, peel the onion. Depending on how big they are, core 1-2 dried chili peppers and remove the stalk. Chop everything together (e.g. in Tupperware Quickchef)
Fry the schnitzel in a little oil in the pan, then keep warm. Pour the rest of the marinade into the pan, bring to the boil and add the tomato, onion and chilli mixture. Finally add the cream and let everything simmer a little longer. Season to taste with salt, pepper and chilli powder, put the schnitzel back in the pan and let it steep for a short time.
We always eat french fries and cucumber slices with it.
Of course, you can also use other types of meat instead of pork and it also tastes very good when the marinated schnitzel is grilled.
