Instructions

  1. Cook a semolina porridge from milk, semolina, sugar and salt. Remove from heat and mix in butter, a whole egg and 3 egg yolks, as well as the lemon zest and juice.
  2. After cooling, fold in 3 egg whites, baking powder and ground almonds. Mix in the well drained cherries. Put everything in a greased springform pan.
  3. Bake at 180 degrees for about 50 minutes.
