Instructions

  1. Peel the carrots and quarter them lengthways. Peel the onions and cut into fine strips. Toast the sesame seeds in a heavy pan without fat, remove and set aside. Heat the oil in the pan and sauté the onions over medium heat while stirring. Add the carrots and cook for 1 more minute. Pour in water and cook covered for 7-8 minutes. Add the honey just before the end of the cooking time. At the end of the cooking time, mix in the soy sauce, sesame seeds and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place on a platter and sprinkle with the coriander.
