First of all: You don`t need to be too specific about the ingredients. Feel free to experiment a little. You can`t go wrong with the recipe (apart from too much vinegar, salt or sugar).
Cut the onions and cucumbers into fine pieces with a vegetable slicer. Halve the garlic. Put all ingredients in a large mason jar and seal. Then shake well.
After two hours you can already eat.
Tip: Leave on overnight and straight from the refrigerator - summer freshness out of the glass.
Note: Other types of vinegar and spices also work as an alternative. If you like, you can add more / no onion or more / less / no garlic.
