Mix flour with baking powder and sift into a bowl. Spread flakes of margarine or butter on top. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and egg as well. Knead everything vigorously with your hands until you have a smooth dough. Cover and place in the refrigerator for about 1/2 hour.
The dough can then be used as a cake base or as a cookie dough. (Simply roll out, cut out the cookies, bake and coat with chocolate after cooling)
