Drain the corn and puree half of it. Chop the shrimp, spring onions, chilli pepper and coriander. Mix the ingredients. Add whole corn kernels, garlic, egg, flour, starch, baking powder and spices. To taste.
Place the corn dough in hot fat, tablespoon at a time, fry for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
This goes well with cucumber or green salad and white bread.
