Instructions

  1. Peel the garlic, cut the cloves in half. Put 8 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan. Braise the garlic on low heat with the lid closed for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. After 30 minutes, your toes should be sticky; take them out.
  2. Finely chop the onions and fry them with the minced meat in the garlic oil over high heat. When the onions are translucent and the minced meat is crispy, add the red wine. Let the red wine boil off completely. Now add the tomatoes, thyme and a pinch of sugar. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Simmer for an hour on low heat with the pot closed, stirring occasionally.
  3. The long cooking time is important for the taste!
  4. If necessary, season again with salt, pepper and thyme.
  5. Serve with spaghetti and parmesan.
