Instructions

  1. Knead the sheep`s cheese with chopped parsley and olive oil. Place about 2 tablespoons of this mass lengthways on a yufka sheet. Now fold the lower end of the dough over it and fold the sides over from the left and right, then roll up. Glue the edge of the pastry with a little olive oil and press down well.
  2. The rolled sigara should be roughly the size and shape of a cigar (hence the Turkish name).
  3. Now fry the sigara. You can of course fry them in plenty of oil in the pan.
  4. Tsatsiki tastes great with it.
  5. Excellent as finger food at parties.
  6. You can also replace the yufka with won-tong dough cloths or puff pastry sheets.
  7. If you like, you can also mix in dill, mint and rose pepper.
