Put the dried fruit and prunes with the cinnamon stick in a bowl, cover with water and soak for 60 minutes.
In the meantime, fry the Kasseler all over in a roasting pan, then roast in the oven at around 200 ° C for 60 minutes. Now add the fruit along with the soaking water and cinnamon stick to the smoked pork and fry for another 30 minutes.
Take the Kasseler out of the roaster and let it rest for a while. Thicken the sauce with cornstarch or sauce thickener and season with salt, pepper and possibly sugar, remove the cinnamon stick.
