Peel and dice the potatoes and carrots, meanwhile bring the broth to the boil.
Add the potatoes, carrots and the bay leaf to the broth. Cut the sausage into slices and add after about 10 minutes of cooking. After another 10 minutes, season with nutmeg and marjoram. Let simmer for another 10 minutes. If necessary, add salt and pepper. Finally remove the bay leaves.
If necessary and depending on your taste, it can be seasoned with a chilli pepper that has been cooked or served with a little crème fraîche. Pureed a pleasure too.
