First stir in the butter until foamy, then gradually stir in the eggs. Gradually stir in the sugar, add cocoa and milk, mix everything together nicely.
Then remove a cup from the liquid mass and set it aside.
Mix in the baking powder and flour into the dough so that it becomes a nice mass.
Grease a round cake tin with butter and then sprinkle with sliced or chopped almonds. Pour in the cake batter and bake at 150 degrees for 1 hour. Perform the famous prick test with a toothpick.
When the cake is ready, let it cool down briefly, about 5-10 minutes and then poke many small offset holes in the dough with a toothpick and then spread the cup of dough over it.
You can decorate the cake as you like, either sprinkle it with coconut flakes or with chocolate and nuts or or or you can be creative.
