Instructions

  1. First prepare the couscous according to the instructions on the packet. Then mix with a little olive oil and the tomato paste and the sambal olek. Basil and the spices and possibly lemon juice can also be added.
  2. Let the couscous stand for now and then cut all the vegetables, i.e. tomatoes, peppers, olives and cucumber into small pieces.
  3. Add the vegetables to the couscous and mix everything well. Finally, cut the feta into small pieces or crumble it over the salad with your fingers. Season again, of course, and add seasoning if necessary or mix with olive oil if it should be a little dry.
  4. The salad is easy to prepare and it is an advantage if it can steep a bit, but this is not a must.
