Clean the leek sticks and cut into fine strips. Cook in a little salted water until cooked (approx. 10 minutes). In the meantime, boil the eggs hard. Rinse the eggs briefly with cold water and peel them. Then chop.
Add the cream to the boiled leek, add the chopped eggs. Season to taste with salt, pepper and freshly grated nutmeg.
This simple but very tasty vegetable side dish goes very well with meatballs, but can also be served very nicely with grilled meat. By the way, it tastes warm and cold.
