Instructions

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes and slice them into fine slices, ideally with a food processor. Layer the slices in a large, flat casserole dish, seasoning with salt in between.
  2. Mix the cream with the pressed or finely chopped garlic, salt and pepper and distribute evenly over the potatoes. Finally pour the grated cheese over it.
  3. Baked at 200 ° top / bottom heat for approx. 45 minutes.
  4. Lamb chops and green salad go very well with this. If the gratin is served as a side dish, more people will of course be full of it, we always eat it as a main course with few added items.
