Instructions

  1. This recipe is not one of the spectacular recipes that everyone has to cook, but simply a simple, quick everyday recipe. Already decades ago my mother had already made salad sauces according to this model without much effort, but always extremely tasty. The word dressing didn`t even exist at that time.
  2. Mix 3 tablespoons of oil with 3 tablespoons of vinegar and 3 tablespoons of canned milk in the salad bowl and stir everything together. On Sundays you can also use cream instead of canned milk, of course it tastes better. To this mixture you add 1/4 teaspoon each of salt, sugar and pepper and round off the whole thing with salad herbs - because of the scheme there should also be 3 different ones, either fresh, dried or frozen.
  3. I almost always use tube horseradish, about 3 - 4 cm. Dill and borage go very well, quantity as desired, but should be rather generous. Garlic is definitely part of lamb`s lettuce.
  4. The salad dressing goes well with almost all fresh salads, but especially with leaf salads.
