Mix all ingredients well and let steep for a few minutes.
I put the food to be grilled and the marinade in a tightly sealable container and shake everything until the food is covered all over with the marinade. Then it goes on the grill or in the oven.
Process the remnants of the marinade as you like, e.g. with yogurt, mustard, mayonnaise etc. to make a spicy dip sauce.
