• 500 g spelled flour
• 250 g butter, room temperature
• 180 g aave syrup
• 2 egg (s)
• 2 packs vanilla sugar
• 2 pinches salt
• 2 pinches baking powder
• 2 tablespoon rum

Instructions

1. Knead all the ingredients in the food processor. Shape the dough into approx. 10 rolls with a diameter of 3 cm. Place in the refrigerator for a few hours or freeze.
2. Cut approx. 3 mm thick slices from the rolls. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (it will also rust if the baking sheets are being used for other purposes). Bake for about 10 minutes at 200 degrees. The edge of the cookies must just start to turn brown, then they are ready.
3. I am happy to freeze the dough rolls. When I bake something else, I take the opportunity to quickly slide a sheet of cookies into the oven - so you always have something fresh with your coffee.
