Instructions

  1. First cook the potatoes with the skin until they are soft but still firm to the bite. While the potatoes are boiling, cut the sausage and cucumber into small pieces. Everyone as they like it best. The spring onions are cut into small rings. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes.
  2. For the sauce, mix the mayonnaise with the cucumber water of the gherkins depending on the consistency you want. You can also add some of the spices from the cucumber water. That gives the whole thing a special touch. Then I add spices. Sugar is very important because of the acidity.
  3. When the potatoes have been quenched and peeled, cut them into small pieces. The sauce still has to be poured over the lukewarm potatoes. CAUTION: Leave a little sauce as the potatoes soak up a lot.
  4. Finally, I add the sausage, gherkins and spring onions. You can add parsley or chives if you like. The eggs are peeled, cut into quarters and added. I like to leave a few over for decoration and put them on top.
