Mix all ingredients in the food processor or hand mixer. The consistency of the dough should be a little softer than kneading dough. Put the dough in the fridge for at least 1/2 hour.
Lightly grease the waffle iron. I use baking release spray to start with. One-time greasing is usually sufficient.
Then shape small balls (slightly larger than a hazelnut) with lightly oiled hands and place each in a heart shape of the heated waffle iron.
Bake the cookies on medium heat for about three minutes. It should be noted that every waffle iron works differently, so adjust the time and temperature.
