Instructions

  1. Cut the smoked pork into 8 finger-thick slices, place in a baking dish and brush with liquid margarine.
  2. Cook at 175 ° C for approx. 20 minutes, pouring your own juice over them from time to time. If necessary, turn the temperature down a little so that it doesn`t get dry.
  3. Peel the carrots and cut into slices. Let the butter get hot in the saucepan and steam the carrots in it until the juice has settled. Then pour the sugar over it and let it caramelize while stirring. Stir the vegetable stock into the hot water and pour over the carrots. Bring the lid open and cook over low heat for approx. 20 minutes.
  4. Possibly sprinkle some parsley over it.
  5. We love to eat mashed potatoes with it.
