Make a farce from mustard, creme fraîche, cream cheese and the pickled gherkins and season with pepper, curry, ground caraway seeds and sugar (no salt!). Mix with the onion mixture and breadcrumbs. Cover the Kasseler completely with this farce.
Put in a roasting tube so that there is enough air and bind. Cook in the oven at 170 - 180 ° C for approx. 1 hour. Salad and baguette tastes best with it.
