Instructions

  1. First cut the onions into fine rings. Peel the apples, cut out the core and cut into slices.
  2. Season slices of Kassel with pepper and fry lightly on both sides in heated clarified butter. Take out of the pan and keep warm. Sauté the onion rings in the frying fat and add the apple slices. After 2 to 3 minutes then add the stock, applesauce and cream. Just bring to the boil and add the Kassel slices again. Finally, season with plenty of marjoram and a little salt and pepper.
  3. We have mashed potatoes or croquettes and lamb`s lettuce with walnut oil and raspberry vinegar as a side dish.
  4. This recipe is very suitable for guests and is easy to prepare. Can be kept warm in the oven for a few hours and gains in flavor.
