Quarter the zucchini lengthways and then cut into pieces approx. 1 cm thick. Peel the carrots and cut into 5mm pieces. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the garlic and carrot cubes. Add the chilli, zucchini and broccoli and sauté. Add the tomato strips as well. Gradually pour in a little broth until the vegetables are cooked but not too liquid. Season to taste with pepper and salt. Finally mix in the basil.
If you love garlic, you can also add more. Everything that is pan-fried or just a fried egg goes well with it.
