Wash and core the peppers and cut into thin strips.
Slowly heat the cream in a saucepan, melt the processed cheese in it, season with salt, pepper and paprika powder.
Halve the snifter and place the pieces in a baking dish. Spread the pepper strips on the meat, pour the sauce over them. Cook in the oven for about 20-30 minutes.
Serve with spaetzle.
Tip:
Outside the Saarland, the Schwenker may not always be available. Then you can of course also take pork or turkey schnitzel. The schnitzel should then be rubbed with salt, pepper, sweet paprika and a little oil before preparation. The cooking time will then be shortened somewhat.
Instead of the classic swivel, we always use pickled pork loin steak. They are leaner and only need 20 minutes in the oven.
