Instructions

  1. Carefully prick in an egg that is as fresh as possible at the bottom of the shell (the thicker end) with a sewing needle. Put the pricked egg in a small saucepan with lukewarm water. The egg must be completely covered by the water. Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil. As soon as the water boils, turn the stove to the lowest setting, look at the clock and watch out: after 3 - 4 minutes they are soft Wax soft after 5 - 6 minutes from 8 minutes hard. Carefully take the egg out of the pot with a slotted spoon and immediately hold it under cold running water and place it in the egg cup. A pinch of fleur de sel goes perfectly with it. It also tastes delicious when cold.
