Soup with Beef and Beans Instructions

  1. We wash the beans in advance (preferably in the evening) and fill them with cold water for 8-10 hours.
  2. We clean 1 onion. You can cut the meat into a couple of pieces.
  3. Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan, put meat, celery stalks, peeled onions, bay leaves, and peppercorns. Bring the contents to a boil over high heat. Remove the foam and make the heat slightly below average, salt and cook the broth with the lid ajar for about 1.5 hours.
  4. We wash the beans and fill them with water again. Boil until tender, about 50-60 minutes.
  5. We put the beans in a colander.
  6. Peel and dice the potatoes.
  7. Take out the meat from the pan, filter the broth.
  8. We rinse the pan and return the strained broth to it. Put the potatoes, bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
  9. Peel the second onion and cut it into cubes.
  10. Peel the carrots and cut them into thin strips.
  11. Add chopped vegetables, boiled beans, and tomato sauce to the pan. Stir and cook for another 10 minutes.
  12. We disassemble the meat into pieces.
  13. Peel the garlic and pass it through a press. Grind the greens.
  14. Put herbs, garlic, and meat in the soup. Stir and bring to a boil. Turn off the heating. Let the soup infuse under the lid for 10-15 minutes.
