Instructions

  1. The cut beans can be pickled very sour. If you don`t like it so sour, you should bring the beans to a boil with water and then pour this off.
  2. First you peel the potatoes. They are already cut into cubes and then cooked like boiled potatoes. Then pour off and roughly mash with a potato masher. Steam the diced onions in butter (if you want, you can also fry a little diced lean bacon). Put the pickled beans in a large saucepan and briefly bring to the boil. Mix the potatoes and onions into the beans. Top up with vegetable stock as required (do not let it become too runny). Add some savory. Add the sausages / Kassler slices and let them steep. Finally, if necessary, season with a little more salt and pepper.
