Cut the onion into small cubes, season with salt and let it steep a little. When the onions are nicely watery, pour them into a large bowl and add the sour cream. Stir well and season with aromatics, pepper, sugar, vinegar and finally the dill tips, a little more or less depending on your taste.
Now fold in the washed lettuce. You shouldn`t let the salad stand too long before eating it.
Tip: You can also slice a cucumber under the sauce.
