Boil the potatoes and cut them into slices. Make a sear from the fat, flour and onions, which is topped up with water and the other ingredients and then cooked for another 25 minutes. After the cloves and bay leaves have been removed, the warm potato slices are added and cooked for a short time. Saitenwürstle, Wienerle or sliced meat sausage and, of course, spaetzle for whole Swabians go well with it.
