Cut the rolls into cubes and soak them in the milk. Fry the finely chopped onions and garlic in butter until golden, add to the rolls. Finely slice the cheese and add to the rolls. Then add the parsley, eggs, the spices and the flour and mix everything well. Let it rest for half an hour before forming cams or small dumplings.
Let the cams simmer gently in salted water for about 10 minutes. The water shouldn`t boil!
Serve the finished dumplings with melted, lightly brown butter and grated Parmesan.
