Rinse the soybeans and soak them in cold water for about 24 hours (up to 36 hours). Change the water 2-3 times.
Peel the soybeans or take them peeled straight away, as peeling is quite time-consuming. However, it is worth the effort, because if you peel the soybeans, the soy milk does not taste so beany afterwards.
Put the peeled soybeans together with the dates in the sieve of the maker. The dates give the soy milk a slight sweetness and a round taste. Pour the water and salt into the water tank and start the soy milk maker.
Filter the finished soy milk through a fine cotton cloth (gauze) while it is still hot, fill it into brown milk bottles, close it and turn it upside down. After cooling, the milk can be kept in the refrigerator for a few days.
