Melt 2 tablespoon butter in the pan, then brown the spaetzle. Add the butter vegetables and let them brown well. When it crisps nicely, deglaze with milk. You can now add other vegetables as you like (e.g. carrot or courgette sticks or broccoli florets). When everything is well browned, add a corner of processed cheese and, depending on the consistency, some milk. It doesn`t really need spices because everything is already well seasoned. I think you can now also add salami, ham or turkey breast.
