Peel the onion and chop finely. Also cut the bacon into small cubes. Crush the peperoncini in a mortar.
Heat the oil in a large pan. Fry the bacon in it over medium heat while stirring. Add the onion and fry briefly.
Then pour in the wine, add the tomatoes and stir in the peppers. Let everything simmer over low to medium heat for about 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
In the meantime, cook the pasta with plenty of salted water until al dente. Drain, drain briefly and add to the pan while still moist. Mix well and serve immediately.
