Instructions

  1. Wash the rocket, drain and roughly chop. Peel the onions and cut into fine wedges. Cut the bacon into small pieces. Cook pasta al dente.
  2. In the meantime, heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Fry the bacon in it until crispy, turning. Add the onion wedges and fry in the bacon until golden brown. Take both out and set aside. Deglaze the frying fat with just under 200ml water and cream. Stir in the broth and bring to the boil. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and lime juice to taste.
  3. If you like, you can thicken the sauce with a sauce thickener. Fold in the rocket and spaghetti. If you like, slice parmesan on top.
