Instructions

  1. Mix the yeast and sugar in a cup with lukewarm buttermilk. Sieve the two flours into a bowl, make a well and add the dissolved yeast. Mix with a little flour and gradually stir in the remaining buttermilk and salt. Knead the dough well and let it rise for an hour until the dough has doubled. Knead again and shape into a loaf of bread. Let rise for 15 minutes and place on a greased tray. (You can of course also use a bread pan.) Bake at 220 degrees for 50 minutes. Grains can also be added! Really delicious and above all healthy bread!
