Instructions

  1. Mix the spelled bread mix with water according to the instructions and knead into a dough.
  2. Then cover with a towel and let rest for about 1/2 hour. Meanwhile, peel the onions, shallots and spring onions and cut into rings. Pour hot water over a sieve if the onion taste is too strong.
  3. Place the bread dough in hand-sized balls on a baking sheet and shape into a flat cake of the desired size with your hands. Just not too thin! Then distribute a tablespoon of crème fraîche on each flatbread and spread evenly. Spread the onions, spring onions and shallots on the flatbreads. Season with salt and pepper and cover each with a handful of cheese. Bake in the oven at approx. 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
  4. When the cheese is golden brown, the flatbread has the perfect consistency. It`s through on the inside, but still soft. If you prefer it crunchy, just let it bake a little longer.
  5. Alternatively, I have also added other ingredients to the flatbread. E.g. minced meat with tomatoes or tomatoes with feta cheese. You can cover them with whatever you like, like a pizza, only healthier.
  6. You can of course also use other baking mixes, such as B. Wholemeal, use or just make the dough yourself. However, my boyfriend and I are very excited about the baking mix.
