Mix the spelled meal, spelled flakes and baking powder in a bowl. Add the sugar, butter, the egg and the spices and knead into a dough. Best done with your hands. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film and place in the fridge for about 40 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Form the dough on a floured work surface into an approx. 2.5 cm thick roll (it is best to divide the dough into 2 portions) and cut into pieces of the same size. Shape the pieces into a ball in your hand and press them flat (the cookies keep this size when baking), place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 12-15 minutes.
You can also roll out the dough and cut out any shapes.
