Beat the margarine, cane sugar and vanilla sugar with the mixer. Gradually stir in the eggs. Mix the spelled flour and baking powder, add to the foam mixture and fold in. Pour in the milk and mix everything into a smooth dough.
Let the waffle batter swell for about 20 minutes.
Bake the waffles in a waffle iron until golden brown. Dust the waffles with powdered sugar if you like.
