Dice carrots, garlic and onions and sauté in a pan with lentils, tomato paste and olive oil. Then add tomatoes, approx. 400 ml water, soy sauce and the spices and simmer over low heat until the lentils have the desired consistency. In the meantime, always add a little water if the sauce gets too thick.
