- Cook the sweet potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes. Pour off the cooking water and mash the potatoes with a masher.
- Heat the butter. Put the shallots and garlic in it until translucent. Also sauté the ham cubes a little.
- Add the mashed potatoes and the creme fraiche and a tablespoon of parsley. Heat to eating temperature and serve sprinkled with the remaining parsley.
