Peel and dice the potatoes and carrots. Peel and dice onions and garlic. Peel and chop the ginger.
Heat the tasteless oil in a saucepan and sauté potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, ginger and chilli in it. Pour in the broth and simmer until the vegetables are soft. Puree. Add milk. Season with soy sauce, curry, salt and sesame oil.
