Instructions

  1. Peel the onion, chop it finely and fry in the oil until translucent. Add the rice and let it sauté briefly. Then gradually add the broth, stir well. Cook rice over medium heat until al dente (approx. 15 minutes). Don`t forget to stir. Let the rice stand for a few more minutes on the switched off hotplate.
  2. Pour rice into a bowl and let it cool down a little.
  3. Add the cheese, herbs and eggs to the rice, mix well. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Shape the rice mixture into approx. 12 balls, flatten a little and fry in well-heated oil in a pan over medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Salads and vegetables of all kinds go well with it. Even cabbage dishes are delicious.
