Cut the meat sausage into strips, arrange with onion rings, tomatoes and eggs in a bowl.
For the marinade, mix together the oil, vinegar, capers, herbs and mustard. Then add the chopped clove of garlic, a little sugar, salt, pepper and marjoram and pour over the first mentioned ingredients. Let it steep in the refrigerator for at least 2 - 3 hours, preferably overnight.
We like to have a hearty farmer`s bread with it, but with white bread or potatoes there is also a delicious dinner, especially for guests, even children are enthusiastic about it. I usually do double to one and a half times that amount.
