Cut the tomatoes and pears with the skin into cubes. Finely chop the onions and garlic. Put everything in a bowl and season with flavoring, pepper and paprika powder. Mix the salad well, set it aside and cover it for about an hour.
After the salad has settled in, add olive oil and balsamic vinegar as desired. Mix everything again and chill overnight. Tastes very good with briefly roasted beef or lamb.
