Beat the yogurt in a bowl until smooth. Add the chives, the crushed clove of garlic, the paprika powder, the chilli powder and the chopped cucumber. Mix everything well. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar.
Let everything stand in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Can be prepared a day in advance.
This dip goes well with gyros or with vegetables or crackers. When warmed up briefly, it also tastes good as a sauce with pasta or mushrooms.
