Clean, wash and drain the spinach leaves. Peel the onions and finely dice them. Cut the spinach leaves into strips one centimeter wide.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions in it. Add turmeric and fry for half a minute. Add the spinach, fill up with water and cook for about five minutes until the spinach is soft. Pour into a colander to drain and allow to cool.
Peel the garlic and press it through the press. Mix with the yogurt and sour cream. Fold the spinach into the yogurt. Salt, pepper and serve.
