Ingredients
- 800 g spinach, chopped (frozen), thawed
- 500 g potato (s), finely diced
- 3 onion (s), peeled and diced
- 4 clove (s) garlic, diced
- 1 red pepper, pitted, chopped into small pieces
- 1 tablespoon paprika powder, noble sweet
- 400 ml broth
- 1 can tomato (s) (pizza tomatoes, the chunky ones), 400 grams
- 10 basil leaves, finely chopped, alternatively basil pesto
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 4 sausages, hot (e.g. chorizo), in thick slices
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pinch (s) sugar
- Pepper, black, freshly ground
- salt
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil. Sweat the potatoes, onions, garlic and peppers in it.
- Dust with paprika powder and also sweat lightly.
- Add spinach, stir in and heat. Stir in the tomato pieces. Allspice with it.
- Top up with broth and simmer for about 10 minutes without a lid.
- Now add the basil and sausages - simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Season to taste with salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
