Clean the spinach, wash thoroughly and drain. Peel and finely dice the onion.
Cut the spinach leaves into 1cm wide strips.
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion in it. Add turmeric and sauté for 1/2 minute. Add the spinach, fill up with 100ml water and cook for about 5 minutes until the spinach is soft. Pour into a colander to drain and allow to cool.
Peel and squeeze the garlic. Mix with yogurt and sour cream. Fold the spinach into the yogurt, season with salt and pepper.
