Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs, beat the egg yolks with 2 - 3 tablespoons of warm water and half of the sugar until it is very light and creamy and has increased in mass. Pour into a large bowl.
  2. Clean the mixing bowl and the mixer (there must be no fat or egg yolk on them!) And whip the egg white with the rest of the sugar for a long time. If you turn the mixing bowl upside down and the egg whites don`t move, it`s done.
  3. Mix the cornstarch, flour and baking powder. Alternatively, you can replace half of the starch with vanilla pudding powder or dark cocoa. Put the egg whites on the egg yolk and sift the starch mixture on top. Carefully fold in everything.
  4. Put it in the oven at 200 ° C for about 30 minutes and let it cool down before using it again (the tip that the dough forms during baking will then collapse again and it will be nice and straight).
