Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, nuts and baking powder together. If necessary, sieve the flour and baking powder so that there are no lumps. Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy and mix with the quark and yoghurt.
  2. Puree 3 bananas and add to the quark mixture. Depending on your taste, you can also use less sugar, since the bananas themselves are also very sweet.
  3. Then add the flour and nut mixture and add the chopped chocolate and walnuts. At the end, cut the remaining two bananas into small pieces and fold in.
  4. Put the mixture in a greased loaf pan and bake at 170 ° C (top / bottom heat) for about 60 minutes. If the cake gets too dark, put aluminum foil over it at the end of the baking time.
  5. The cake is very juicy, has a dense consistency and is nice and sticky on the inside. It tastes best when it has been steeped for 1 to 2 days. It is also delicious if you coat it with jam or honey.
